Purpose: This study examines the effects of organizational factors, marketing factors, and network factors on competitiveness and business performance of Chinese and Korean global companies through empirical analysis.
Research design, data, and methodology: the relationship between the performance of organizational factors, marketing factors, and network factors was examined, and then the effect on the correlation with competitiveness was examined. Accordingly, a related research hypothesis was established and the hypothesis was verified. To test the hypothesis, a total of 509 surveys were conducted from March 2nd to August 29th, 2022 targeting Korean global companies operating in China.
Results: First, the constituent factors of global companies were found to have a significant effect on competitiveness. Second, it was found that competitiveness has a significant effect on management performance. Third, it was found that network factors have a significant effect on competitiveness and at the same time affect business performance. Fourth, through the network in China, it is possible to quickly identify various resources and knowledge outside the company, and by using the international experience accumulated inside the company.
